Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) has released the following statement on President Trump's announcement of the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.

"President Trump's nomination of Brett Kavanaugh is another strong pick for our nation's highest court. Much like Justice Gorsuch, Kavanaugh has a strong record of interpreting the law, not making the law. His opinions show a history of safeguarding free speech, upholding the Second Amendment, and protecting religious liberty. The Senate should act quickly to approve him."
